Microsystems engineering

The design and manufacturing of micro systems is trend-setting for many industries.
In the process of developing complex microsystems, simulation tools are increasingly utilised, for example, in the areas of micro fluidics and micro reactors.
ASD with its know how in the simulation of both, flows and biological processes, is particularly involved in the design and optimisation of biotechnological and biomedical applications of micro system technology. This concerns, for example, microreactors or cell chips, both demanding optimum conditions for the living matter used in these systems. Other applications of microsystem simulations include the optimisation of micro pumps or the calculation of micro catalyzers.
