IDEE-Award 1998
In Germany more and more women are planning to be the CEO of their own company. But people wanting to be successful in the market not only have to be highly qualified and motivated, they also have to have a good idea for a sound company concept:

"The concept comes first"

The idea of supporting new business ideas by women with DM 100.000,- developed by the Hamburg businessman Albert Darboven, and implemented for the first time in 1997 has made a valuable contribution in this area.
Readiness to take risks, personal engagement and vision, together with an interesting business idea offer candidates the opportunity of being considered for the IDEE-Award.

|
An interdisciplinary and competent jury has so far assessed about 1200 applications from throughout Germany on the basis of novelty, commercial concept and number or estimated number of new jobs created by the new concept.
