Optimisation of concentration distribution in multi-component gas flows

Gas concentration of component B in initial configuration
Gas concentration of component B in initial configuration
Initial configuration:
Determination of component B concentration in component A for inflow of B lateral to main flow.

Result:
Low concentration of B at the centre of outlet due to insufficient transport away from the inlet region.
Optimised variant:
Variation of the geometry and displacement of component B gas inlet towards the central flow region.

Result:
Significant increase of component B concentration in the centre of outlet.
