Numerical analysis of flow conditions and concentration distributions at a nozzle shaped air and gas mixing area.
Optimisation of mixture composition and mixing grade for the device considered.
Numerical flow simulations revealed insufficient air and gas mixture at the device outlet.
Nozzle modification via an orifice disk or determination of necessary mixing length checked by numerical simulations led to sufficient mixing relations and a complete homogenous mixture.
